Pinky McFluff is in a giant, glittering pickle. She has forgotten her entire show and needs your help to save the day! Pinky McFluff’s Amazingly Awesome And Actually Astounding Comedy Hour(ish)! is a whimsical, fully improvised musical comedy adventure for families, starring the wonder-filled Pinky McFluff (the child-friendly alter-ego of internationally award-winning Brisbane comedian Jenny Wynter). Before the curtain rises, children drop their wildest suggestions into the onstage 'Jar of Wonder'. Pinky then draws these ideas live to construct a spontaneous, hilarious, and heartwarming story with catch-on-the-spot songs right before your eyes. No two performances are ever the same, making every show a genuine, once-in-a-lifetime world premiere. Perfect for kids aged six to twelve and their families, this interactive production treats children as active creative collaborators, showing them that their wild imaginations have immediate, spectacular value. Take a free volunteer guided walk to learn about the plants and features at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Perfect Little Planet
Children will love this tour of the Solar System through the eyes of a family of aliens on vacation from another star system. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. This show contains some sudden sound effects, fast moving scenes and flashing light sequences.

Cut, paste and publish! Teens can step into a world of creativity and bring their own DIY zine to life! Mash up images, words and ideas to build a unique mini publication, guided by artist Izzy Heaton. Warm up with a mini tour of Precious with Izzy to soak up all the punk-inspired posters and badges, then let your hands go loose in the studio! Raid the camera roll, bring bits and pieces, or dive in and create something totally unexpected. A fun, hands-on workshop for teens who love to create. Encounters in the Milky Way
Discover the chance encounters that have shaped our place in the universe. Narrated by Pedro Pascal, Encounters in the Milky Way is a time-traveling journey about the cosmic movements that shape our galactic neighborhood. Session concludes with a virtual tour of the Brisbane night sky. Encounters in the Milky Way was developed by the American Museum of Natural History (amnh.org) with the major support and partnership of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Come to the Visible Ink Youth Hub, where we can produce and record sound and/or video of your performance, to share on your socials or submit to venues and festivals. Practical Wing Chun
Welcome to Practical Wing Chun! We are the martial arts school in Brisbane. Wing Chun is a Kungfu well known for its close quarters combat. It was designed for the street environment where aggression occurs more often. Practical Wing Chun welcomes people of all ages, gender, race, religious beliefs, skill levels, and body types. Seido Karate Classes for Adults & Teens
Our adult program offers classes at 6.30pm, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday). Our adult program includes students as young as 10 through to students as mature as 80+! The adult syllabus starts from 15 years old, with students learning the junior (children’s) syllabus up until this age. Our classes are suitable for beginners through to advanced students. On Monday and Thursday, an advanced class is run simultaneously for our green, brown and black belt students. Black belt classes are also run at 7.30pm on Monday and Thursday. Adults and teenagers learn discipline, focus, confidence, strength and humility as well as being active and having the opportunity to socialise, meet and work out with like-minded individuals of various ages, abilities and backgrounds.
Fascial maneuvers by Human Garage workshop
A guided workshop with a trained coach to experience Human Garage fascial maneuvers. Moving in specifically designed rotational motions to release fascia restrictions we use the breath to settle the nervous system, unwind tension and increase energy in the body. These gentle movements are adaptable and suitable for any body. Children are welcome.
