Keen to learn bootscooting in an upbeat and entertaining environment? Come along to Footloose Fun line dancing classes, held every Monday night at Northgate Hall. Sessions: 6.30-7.40pm - beginner level 7.45-8.50pm - improver/intermediate level. $15pp for the night, regardless of if you are there for one lesson or both. Kids can come along for free, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult. Wear closed-in shoes which won't stick to the floor, and clothes you are comfy moving around in (denim, activewear, whatever suits). No need to book in, just turn up! Our volunteer guides all have a love for Brisbane’s Botanic Gardens and a desire to share their passion and knowledge with visitors. Walking tours for individuals and small groups (up to ten people) are free and do not require a booking. Have a larger group? Find out more about booking walks for groups 10 or more in size. Walk times: Walks depart at 11am and 1pm, Monday to Saturday. Walk duration: Walks last about one hour and are taken at a gentle pace. Meeting point: Meet at the Mt Coot-tha Visitor Information Centre. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

This exclusive to Brisbane exhibition, developed in close collaboration with Magpie Goose owners Amanda Hayman (Wakka Wakka and Kalkadoon) and Troy Casey (Kamilaroi), offers a deep dive into the work of some of the region’s most talented First Nations artists and designers. Using clothing as a canvas for storytelling, this exciting collaboration will connect audiences with the rich and diverse cultural expressions of First Nations communities in Queensland and beyond.
