Inala Multicultural Festival
The Inala Multicultural Festival is a free, one-day-only celebration for families across our local community and beyond. Held at the Dogs Queensland in Durack, the event brings together vibrant cultural performances, free rides, incredible food from around the world and a diverse mix of community and market stalls. Proudly run by Inala Community House, the festival is a true reflection of the community it celebrates. Inala is one of Brisbane’s most culturally rich suburbs, home to people from many backgrounds, each contributing to a strong sense of identity, connection and pride. Created to be a safe, inclusive and welcoming space, the festival gives the community a chance to come together, share culture and celebrate diversity. Pinky McFluff is in a giant, glittering pickle. She has forgotten her entire show and needs your help to save the day! Pinky McFluff’s Amazingly Awesome And Actually Astounding Comedy Hour(ish)! is a whimsical, fully improvised musical comedy adventure for families, starring the wonder-filled Pinky McFluff (the child-friendly alter-ego of internationally award-winning Brisbane comedian Jenny Wynter). Before the curtain rises, children drop their wildest suggestions into the onstage 'Jar of Wonder'. Pinky then draws these ideas live to construct a spontaneous, hilarious, and heartwarming story with catch-on-the-spot songs right before your eyes. Dating Disasters is about the many misgivings of momentous meetings, raunchy rendezvous and cataclysmic love affairs that happen when we attempt to date. It is a verbatim cabaret, that features anonymous stories gathered from our audience and weaved with like-a-version music and tales from my own experiences of the dating world. Dating is something that all adults typically endure and usually have an experience worth forgetting – or is it?! Join Bea as she proves that she isn’t a psychotic stalker, but simply an emotional being who needs her feelings requited. Will she find the meaning of healthy relationships and also true love?
