RQAS Workshop Festival
RQAS Workshop Festival is back by popular demand, with this year offering a wide range of workshops covering oils, pastels, acrylics, drawing and more throughout the entire month of March. The workshops will be available for children, teenagers and adults of all skill levels. The Festival will also run in conjunction with the biennial Young Artist Award, and to start things off, RQAS will be holding an Open Day at Petrie Terrace Gallery on Saturday 7 March. Held at both Petrie Terrace Gallery and at off-site locations, this is the time to try something new and see what Brisbane tutors have to offer. RQAS is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council. RQAS Workshop Festival 2026 - Open Day
To kick off the RQAS Workshop Festival, RQAS will be hosting an Open Day at Petrie Terrace Gallery. This event is an opportunity for attendees to mingle, meet tutors and other artists, and find out more about other local art groups and workshops included in the Festival. There will be a morning tea offering coffee and tea with cake available on the day for purchase. Following on from the RQAS Workshop Festival Open Day, RQAS will be hosting the opening for RQAS Young Artist Award. If you would like to hang around and be a part of this event, tickets can be purchased via RQAS website. Location: Downstairs gallery, making it wheelchair accessible.
