Australian National Flag Day
The Lord Mayor and Brisbane City Council will again host the traditional Flag Day ceremony in King George Square in front of Brisbane City Hall, with a flag raising by members of the Australian Defence Force.Our flag was first flown on September 3, 1901 following the world's first ever flag design competition.For more information, visit the Australian National Flag Association website.
