Brisbane through the lens of local photographers.The winners exhibition of the 2026 Lord Mayor's Photographic Awards brings together striking photographic works that capture the city's spirit - from familiar streets and riverside scenes to the fleeting moments, routines and characters that make Brisbane feel like home.New this year, the Brisbane Postcards Collection category invites photographers to showcase Brisbane's charm and energy through images that locals recognise, and visitors instantly fall in love with. Bush Kindy is for children aged 3-5 years, alongside their parents and carers. Be immersed in the natural surroundings of the reserve as children build nature confidence through bushwalks, exploration, story-time, art 'n' craft and much more.Bush Kindy sessions can go up to 45 minutes and will go ahead in light rain. Themes vary each week.This activity is for the general public. If you are a daycare or vacation group interested in attending a similar activity please email us. KFDC@brisbane.qld.gov.au.Requirements: Arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Children must be directly supervised by an adult. Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed shoes, sunscreen, and bring insect repellent. Suitable old clothes recommended for messy play. Bring water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.

Have a larger group?
