Craig & Karl: Double Vision
Craig & Karl: Double Vision is a dynamic, playful exploration of one of Queensland's most internationally successful creative exports. Employing Craig & Karl’s signature visual language, defined by bold colour, graphic precision, and infectious joy, the exhibition explores the artists’ three-decade-long creative partnership, their influence on global public art and design trends, and the enduring impact of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art & Design, where the artists first met almost 30 years ago. Celebrating Country and Culture through the bold designs of Magpie Goose. Museum of Brisbane is excited to collaborate with Magpie Goose, a proudly Aboriginal owned and led fashion and social enterprise, to celebrate extraordinary First Nations cultural stories and designs. This exclusive to Brisbane exhibition, developed in close collaboration with Magpie Goose owners Amanda Hayman (Wakka Wakka and Kalkadoon) and Troy Casey (Kamilaroi), offers a deep dive into the work of some of the region’s most talented First Nations artists and designers. Using clothing as a canvas for storytelling, this exciting collaboration will connect audiences with the rich and diverse cultural expressions of First Nations communities in Queensland and beyond. Artist in Residence: Gerwyn Davies
Leading contemporary artist Gerwyn Davies presents a series of striking photographic portraits developed in collaboration with trans and gender-diverse young people from Open Doors Youth Service. Each vivid image features a handcrafted sculptural costume, allowing the wearer to represent themselves in spectacular ways while simultaneously retaining their anonymity. Together, the works celebrate self-expression, resilience, and the power of chosen visibility. MoB’s Artist in Residence program is supported by Tim Fairfax AC. Presented by Museum of Brisbane in partnership with MELT Festival, Brisbane Powerhouse. ON:STAGE K-pop Workshop
BrisAsia Festival 2026 presents ON:STAGE K-pop Workshop. Step into the world of K-pop with the ON:STAGE K-pop Workshop Series. During the school holidays, children can experience an exclusive workshop led by powerhouse instructors from CODE 4K, LI7, and NOIR - three of Brisbane’s strongest K-pop community crews. Whether you’re training for performance, sharpening your technique, or simply dancing for fun, these workshops offer a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment for all ages and skill levels. Celebrate creativity, build confidence, and connect with Brisbane’s vibrant K-pop community. Three exclusive classes will be offered during the program: Class 1 - 1-2pm - CODE 4K ZENLYN Class 2 - 2-3pm - LI7 KRISTINA Class 3 - 4-5pm - NOIR NAI Come learn, groove, and make new friends as you experience the energy, storytelling, and excitement of K-pop dance. Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and performer YUNGBLUD, whose catalogue has accumulated an astonishing 8 billion streams globally, will bring his IDOLS world tour to Australia for his biggest shows to date in January 2026. Following the colossal news that his 2026, 24-date North American tour sold out in just one minute, the tour is now making its way through Europe before heading to Australia in the new year with stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth. YUNGBLUD is rapidly becoming one of the most influential musical voices of his generation, blending elements of rock and punk to monumental effect. RQAS is starting 2026 with a Splash! The coasts and waterways are extremely valuable to all in Southeast Queensland and this exhibition allows everyone to celebrate all things nautical and aquatic. Whether it be the local estuaries’, the coast, boats in a marina, the backyard pool, or something else related to water, artists will be making a splash with water-themed artwork. Unleash your teen’s creativity! They’ll explore the Micro Museum, pick quirky everyday objects and bring them to life with iPads using simple stop-motion. Creative play where imagination meets animation! Each ticket will include an exhibition tour, guided workshop and a copy of your animation.
