4MBS Brisbane Shakespeare Festival
Celebrating its 20th year, the 4MBS Brisbane Shakespeare Festival brings the Bard to Brisbane with theatre, talks, dance, swordplay, and more fun for the whole family!Experience Shakespeare's thrilling tale of battles, rebellion and royal adventure with a professional production of Henry IV (Parts 1 & 2 combined) in the amphitheatre at 5.30pm. Follow the mischievous Prince Hal as he leaves behind a carefree life to face fierce rivals and fight for England's crown. Bands in Parks performs at UQ Amphitheatre.As the sun sets and the shadows grow long, join us for a frightfully fun Halloween concert packed with spooky sounds, magical melodies and monstrous musical favourites! Bring your family, don your best costume and enjoy an evening of Halloween fun.Brisbane Municipal Concert Band 4:30-5:30pm Followed by the UQ Big Band will warm up the UQ sound shell by the lake.Enjoy this free, all-ages event in an late afternoon of music and family fun. With food vendors on hand to satisfy your afternoon cravings plus free face painting and lawn games for the kids, it's the perfect way to enjoy a sunny late-spring afternoon.Location: UQ Amphitheatre, St Lucia.

Bands in Parks performs at Old Government House.Echoes & Landscapes will bring their unique sounds to the Bands in Parks program. Come and enjoy the music where they will honour the lives and music of Australian plucked-string composers whose work helped shape our unique mandolin and guitar ensemble culture.At the heart of the program is the music of Robert Schulz, alongside works by Robert Kay and Duncan Gardiner.Together, their compositions reflect a deep connection to landscape, community, and storytelling, and celebrate a legacy that continues through today's performers.Location: George Street

Visible Ink will be taking over the Queen Street Mall Main Stage by supporting a toung and emerging local artist.Lara Estel makes indie pop about growing up, situationships and things she probably should've kept in her diary. A little whimsy, a little messy and also a little unhinged, a soundtrack for pretending your life is coming together.Check out Lara who will be performing from 12-12.30pm and 1-1.30pm.
