Bands in Parks: Sunset Sounds
Bands in Parks performs at Thomas Dixon Centre. Soak up the city skyline with the sounds of glorious strings with Vivace on the Kite Terrace at Thomas Dixon Centre. Experience some sublime classics with elegant strings in an open-air setting, as the sun goes down. Location: Thomas Dixon Centre, 406 Montague Road, West End
Sherwood Arboretum guided walk
Sherwood Arboretum, established in 1925, is Brisbane’s only botanic garden dedicated exclusively to growing Australian native trees. The Arboretum holds scientific and cultural values with many of the original plantings undertaken by prominent citizens of Brisbane. The guided walk will be led by the Volunteer Guides of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha and the Friends of Sherwood Arboretum. Requirements: Wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Meeting point: Meet at the shelter adjacent to the main carpark off Jolimont Street, Sherwood. Age: Open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.

Lord Mayor's Children's Program - K-Pop Kidz!
Lord Mayor's Children's Program presents K-Pop Kidz! Get ready to kickstart the school holidays with an electrifying 55-minute K‑Pop dance spectacular that brings the colour, energy and infectious joy of K‑Pop culture to the stage of Brisbane City Hall. Featuring talented performers from Brisbane’s very own K‑Pop dance community, this high-energy show is inspired by a hit blockbuster K‑Pop kids movie and packed with everything families love about the genre. Kids are invited to dress up as their favourite K‑Pop star, learn cool new dance moves, and sing along to the music. This is the ultimate school holiday event everyone will be talking about! Accessible seating is available on the day. Why not make a day of it and check out all of the other fun activities Brisbane City has to offer? Bands in Parks: Concours D'Elegance
Bands in Parks performs at Sherwood Arboretum. If you love vintage cars, coffee and jazz, this is the event for you. Head along to the Vintage Car Club of Queensland annual Concours d’Elegance and enjoy an impressive display of vintage cars, fabulous music from Brass Roots Live while you sip your morning coffee.
Bands in Parks: Community Train Day
Bands in Parks performs at McPherson Park. Lutwyche Brass band will entertain the crowds at monthly Train Day. There will be market stalls and sausage sizzles so treat the kids to a ride on a real steam train organised by the Bracken Ridge Central Lions club.
Clock Tower Tour
Discover the hidden secrets of your heritage-listed City Hall building with a guided tour of Brisbane’s iconic Clock Tower. The Clock Tower Tour is a “must do” while in Brisbane! For many years, City Hall’s Clock Tower elevated the building to Brisbane’s tallest, offering visitors a magnificent 360 degree view of the city around them. Whilst the view has changed significantly over the last 90 years, the time-honoured tradition of “taking a trip up the tower” happily continues at Museum of Brisbane. The Clock Tower Tour includes a ride in one of Brisbane’s oldest working cage lifts, a look behind Australia’s largest analogue clock faces and time to explore the observation platform that shares a unique perspective of your city. Inala Multicultural Festival
The Inala Multicultural Festival is a free, one-day-only celebration for families across our local community and beyond. Held at the Dogs Queensland in Durack, the event brings together free vibrant cultural performances, free rides, incredible food from around the world and a diverse mix of community and market stalls. Proudly run by Inala Community House, the festival is a true reflection of the community it celebrates.
