MacArthur Museum - New exhibition on Prisoners of War

About This Event

In a new exhibit on Australian Prisoners of War in the Pacific, MacArthur Museum highlights the horrific experience of Australians as prisoners of the Japanese through a new physical and digital display. The display examines the conditions the Prisoners of War worked under, the ingenuity of the medical officers and the brutality of their captors. Come and visit the MacArthur Museum to learn about the role of Brisbane in World War 2, the South West Pacific Area Campaign and General Douglas MacArthur. MacArthur Museum - New exhibition on Prisoners of War is proudly supported by Brisbane City Council. Location: MacArthur Museum Brisbane, Level 8, 201 Edward Street, Brisbane City
