About This Event
Go wild on a guided walk introducing children to birdwatching. Young naturalists will learn how to use binoculars, listen and look for birds, build identification and observation skills, complete some fun challenges, and discover how recording observations can contribute to bird conservation. Binoculars supplied. This activity is for the general public. If you are a vacation group interested in attending a similar activity, send an email. Requirements on the day: Please arrive 10 minutes early for check in.Wear secure, fully enclosed walking shoes.Wide-brimmed hat and sun-smart clothing.Sunscreen and insect repellent.Bring water in a reusable bottle and a snack, as there are no food outlets on site.Note: Outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
